I just loved this late Spring St Mellion wedding in Cornwall. The African atmosphere and theme brought so much colour and warmth to the day. The luxury golf resort at St Mellion really is a stunning venue and backdrop for a wedding in Cornwall. The surrounding parkland and golf course offer a unique setting for those once in a lifetime wedding photos.
With both the bride and groom having their roots in Kenya, there was no doubt that they would bring Africa to this corner of Cornwall. The day was a celebration of both traditional Kenyan customs, music and dance combined with one of the best Cornish backdrops. The day was awash with brightly coloured African textiles and music, with the specially prepared wedding breakfast featuring traditional Kenyan fayre.
This was one of the most exciting and fun wedding celebrations I’ve been blessed to capture and the luxury St Mellion resort was the perfect wedding venue for the wedding day. Mother nature also played her part on the day, offering a colourful sunset for some stunning photos of the newly weds on the championship golf course. Who knew the green on the final hole was heartshaped! Just a perfect finale!
