Now the New Year and have some time at last to catch up blogging all the wonderful weddings I photographed last year. One of these was Kate & Matt’s wonderful summer wedding at Shilstone House in Devon.
I met this lovely couple at Bigbury for their engagement shoot earlier in the year and I just knew that their wedding day was going to be fabulous. On the day the weather was perfect for the beautiful summer wedding they had planned.
They had planned the wedding ceremony to take place in the new barn at Shilstone. What a fabulous space it is and so light to photograph in. Following the ceremony we all headed over to the stunning Shilstone House itself and formal garden outside. What a great space this is for any wedding day.
The marquee was decorated so beautiful and makes a lovely setting for the reception. Located in a walled garden it overlooks the beautiful South Devon countryside.
We were blessed with a wonderful sunset and colourful summer evening sky. Popping out with Kate & Matt we managed to make the most of it!
Needless tyo say the party coninued long into the night!
