Happy New Year – what a fabulous start to 2017 with an Award

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful festive period.

It’s been a hectic Christmas period as we’ve moved to our new home in Plymouth and finalising the lease on a new office HQ for Michael Marker Photography. I’ll keep you updated once I’ve moved in.

Even more exciting news was seeing the latest results from the prestigious Wedding Photojournalists Association quarterly contest. The competition is fierce for this international contest for documentary wedding photographers. It is such an honour to receive a single award, but to receive two awards in the same contest? Just incredible and such a wonderful way to start the new year. It’s always encouraging to receive recognition for one’s work by your peers.
