Hi everyone,
Welcome to my series of blog posts on some great Devon wedding venues. I’ve found these venues to provide some stunning backdrops and breathtaking opportunities for your wedding photography.
Bovey Castle as a wedding venue
First off has to be Bovey Castle near Moretonhampstead on Dartmoor. Bovey Castle is situated in the beatiful Dartmoor National Park, in the heart of Devon.
The hotel is easy to locate, just 45 minutes drive from Exeter International Airport and 40 minutes from Exeter St Davids Station. Arrive in style and arrange for one of our fleet of Land Rover Discoveries to collect you. If you’re travelling by car it is easily accessible from the M5.
Catering for any size wedding from 2- 150 guests, Bovey Castle has a range of luxurious ceremony, dining and entertaining options that will guarantee a wedding day with a difference. Choose from four unique rooms within the hotel for your wedding venue, from an outdoor civil ceremony and celebratory drinks at our Summer House to the regal setting of the beautiful Cathedral Room.
The food is excellent as is the five star service and sumptuous rooms and lodges. On site is a range of activities from spa, to golf, and outdoor activities. Certainly a Devon wedding venue for that fairy tale wedding.
