It’s been a busy summer so far and I’ve only managed to get round to share a few of the fabulous weddings from the last couple of months. One of the many fabulous weddings was Jo & Matt’s Devon military wedding near Exeter.
The church marriage ceremony was held at the beautiful Parish Church in Silverton followed by a military guard of honour for the newly weds leaving the church – just in time for a heavy Spring shower before dashing into the wedding car! What’s not to love about a military wedding – the uniforms and ceremony are just fabulous to watch and photograph.
Family and friends followed the bride and groom to the nearby Billingsmoor Farm.
The farm offers a unique and relaxed wedding venue in the heart of the Devon countryside and the marquee in the courtyard is of a very high standard with the adjacent barn offering a great space for the evening entertainment and merriment! An added bonus is the luxury camping on site for guests.
A sumptuous seafood platter for starter and hearty main course was followed by ice cream cones all round from the ice cream bicycle. The caleigh then started and the bride and groom, family and friends partied long onto the small hours.
What a fun packed and thoroughly enjoyable wedding to photograph and what a privilege to get to know Jo & Matt over the last 12 months.
