I have another wonderful Devon country house wedding for you. This fabulous wedding took place at the grooms stunning Grade one listed family home deep in the Devon countryside. It’s no wonder the lovely couple, Oli & George had decided to marry in the local church followed by the reception at the family home.
The wedding service was planned for a quaint and pretty church only down Devon country lane from the house. Packed to the brim with family and friends the atmosphere was magical for the wedding service itself. Waiting outside was an elegant horse and carriage to take Oli and George down to the reception and fortunately the rain just held off enough!
The reception venue looked stunning with the drinks held in the main house and the outside terraces. The marquee for the wedding reception was decorated with a butterfly theme and looked perfect. Following a wonderful meal and hilarious speeches the guests were called outside for a surprise firework display before the first dance and partying late into the night.
One aspect of being a wedding photographer that I love is having the opportunity to visit so many beautiful locations and venues and this one was one such case.
