I have another beautiful Devon wedding at Shilstone House. Located near Modbury in the South Hams, Shilstone is a newly renovated large manor house situated in rolling South Devon countryside. The owners have been meticulous in restoring the country house to the same standards and level of craftsmanship as the original property. The interiors really are stunning and a beautiful setting for weddings.
I first met Harry & Vicky at their lovely London home almost a year before the wedding. It became clear they had the same vision for their photography as I did. I was so excited to documenting their wedding day.
The couple were both getting ready in the beautiful village of Hope Cove before heading off to Shilstone House for the ceremony and reception. All the guests and the groom were waiting on the terrace in front of the house for a lovely garden ceremony. Full of happiness and laughter the relaxed ceremony was perfect for the couple and setting.
Following drinks in the house and grounds, all headed to the marquee in the walled garden for the wedding breakfast and party. The marquee was decorated wonderfully with the Liberty theme throughout and the wedding cake was a stunner!
